درودوسلام کا اجر وثواب ایک اور حدیث پاک میں آتا ہے کہ حضرت جبریل علیہ السلام نے ایک بار حضور نبی اکرم سےعرض کی کہ یا رسول اللہ ! مجھے اللہ تعالی نے ایسا علم عطا فرمایا ہے کہ میں کائنات کے درختوں کے پتے گن سکتا ہوں، میں بارش کے پانیوں کے قطرے گن سکتا ہوں اور میں زمین کے ذرات تک گن سکتا ہوں۔ لیکن یارسول اللہ ایک چیز ایسی ہے جو میں نہیں گن سکتا۔ اور وہ یہ ہے کہ جب آپکا کوئی امتی آپ پر درود بھیجتا ہے اور اللہ تعالی کی رحمت جب اس امتی پر برستی ہے ۔ میں اس رحمت کی وسعت کو اپنے احاطہء شمار میں نہیں لاسکتا۔ یعنی وہ رحمت اتنی بےبہا ہوتی ہے کہ حضرت جبریل علیہ السلام بھی گن نہیں سکتے۔ اسی طرح ایک اور حدیث پاک ملاحظہ فرمائیں حضور اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کا ارشاد مبارک ہے عن عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف، أن رسول اﷲ صلي الله عليه وآله وسلم قال : إني لقيت جبرائيل عليه السلام فبشرني و قال : إن ربک يقول : من صلي عليک صليت عليه، و من سلم عليک سلمت عليه، فسجدت ﷲ عزَّوجلّ شکرًا. THE EXCELLENCE OF DUROOD SHAREEF AS EXPLAINED IN THE AHADITH "Hadith" is an Arabic word which means "Holy Sayings". It is the narration of all the affectionate words of advice uttered by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallim) from time to time. These sayings (Ahadith) are instructions offered for the guidance of mankind, and to follow them is as important as daily prayers. The famous books of Hadith are the following: Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, Muwatta, Nisaai', Ibn-Majah, Darmi, Baihaqi and Miskhaat Shareef.
